Liquid-by-Cylinder Medical Gas Manifold
A liquid-by-cylinder medical gas manifold is a type of manifold that uses both liquid and cylinder-based medical gases to distribute medical gases to various points of use within a hospital or other healthcare setting. This type of manifold is typically used for gases that are stored in both liquid and cylinder form, such as liquid oxygen and cylinder oxygen. This allows the medical gases to be distributed more efficiently and with less waste, compared to traditional gas-by-gas manifolds. Liquid-by-cylinder medical gas manifolds are an important part of the overall medical gas system and help to ensure that patients have access to the gases they need for treatment.
Tri-Tech Medical’s Genesys™ medical gas manifold leads the industry in reliability and innovative features: transducers instead of pressure switches, 400 PSIG pressure differential rated solenoid valve(s), easy-to-service 2D layouts, and union fittings before and after all serviceable components. In addition, they are designed to allow the medical gas manifold cabinet to be converted in the field (i.e.- from standard flow to high flow or from cylinder-by-cylinder use to liquid-by-cylinder or liquid-by-liquid). These design features: improve safety, reduce manifold system costs, make the units easy to service, and provide the utmost reliability.
