Wireless Alarm Networks

A very expensive portion of the medical gas alarm system is the installation of hundreds or thousands of feet of low voltage wiring and conduit for the master and area alarms.
- Low voltage wire & conduit to run from each piece of source equipment to both master alarm panels
- Tee’s to braze for each remote area alarm transducer
- Low voltage wire to run for each remote area alarm transducer
Tri-Tech Medical has minimized this cost by creating the Integra Series and Wireless Master Alarm Networks.

WIRELESS MASTER ALARMS
- Minimize expensive low voltage wiring installation between source equipment and master alarm panels.
- Monitor source equipment from up to 4 separate remote locations
- Utilize the latest 900 MHz ISM Mesh technology
- Every sending unit also acts as a repeater
- Broadcast up to ½ mile thru steel, brick & mortar (will not broadcast thru imaging rooms or earthen walls)

INTEGRA SERIES – AREA ALARM + ZONE VALVE BOX
- Combines area alarm and zone valves into one unit
- Saves installation $$$ - only one box to install, instead of two, no brazing of tees and/or feeder tubes, no low voltage wiring or copper tubes to install
- Saves valuable wall space
- Up to 7 gas services in a single box

In the local source sending panels, an internal circuit board polls the status of the source equipment to which it is wired and transmits the status to the listening Wireless Master/Receiving Panel using wireless mesh techniques. The transmissions occur continuously (every few seconds) and the required visual and audible alarms are triggered whenever a monitored switch input changes status. Two transceivers are actively used in each local source sending panel for redundancy. With 900 MHz ISM mesh technology, every local source sending panel also acts as a Repeater, retransmitting messages from other local source sending panels to ensure that the data reaches the facility’s Wireless Master /Receiving Panel.
